1. Empathy

Whether it’s at the beginning, middle or end of the interview, empathy is essential to creating a solid connection with the interviewer. Don’t wait for the icebreaker — get ahead of the game and set a relaxed tone from the very first second. At the end, remember to thank them for their time. Start off on the right foot and end on a high note! 🔑✨

2. Content

“But I don’t know what they’re going to ask me!!!” Don’t panic. The most important thing in an interview is not just what you know, but who you are! Your attitude, reasoning and values are also the focus of the interviewer’s attention. Prepare examples that demonstrate your soft skills (teamwork, proactivity, resilience…) and use them whenever you can.

3. Examples

Giving real-life examples is essential. When asked, “What would you do in a situation like this?”, avoid perfect, theoretical answers. Share real experiences, organized into three dimensions:

⦁ Action: What you did;

⦁ Result: The impact of your actions (don’t worry if the result isn’t perfect – honesty is worth much more!).

Never, ever, end an interview without asking questions. Show interest and curiosity about the company or the position. Not asking questions can be interpreted as a lack of enthusiasm or disinterest. In other words, it can be a real self-destruct button for any application.
