Cooks 1st Fulltime

Vidamar Resort Algarve is recruiting 1st Cooks for its unit in Albufeira.

Full of several excellent services and comforts, this resort is located next to a natural reserve full of biodiversity, facing the infinite blue of the Atlantic and just a few steps from a golf course, in Herdade dos Salgados.

Main responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu and buffet dishes, satisfying the highest customer expectations;
• Plate and garnish dishes in an exquisite manner;
• Replenish products and raw materials whenever necessary, particularly in Buffet services;
• Comply with HACCP procedures and regulations;
• Participate in the organization and cleaning of the kitchen, utensils and other equipment.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, ensuring the quality and excellence of the service provided.

Ideal profile:
• Professional technical and/or higher education course in the kitchen area;
• Proven experience in the role, preferably in 5* units or high-quality restaurants;
• High standards of hygiene and food safety;
• Flexible working hours.
