Verdelago Resort – Head Bar Manager (M/F) Fulltime

The only 5-star nature resort is being built on the coast of the Eastern Algarve.

MISSION
– Ensure that the service provided exceeds customer satisfaction expectations.
– Responsibility for service levels and quality of meals in bars.
– Compliance with all rules and procedures contained in the employee handbook.

QUALITY
– Contribute to the objectives established by management for beverage sales.
– Contribute to correct stock management.
– Contribute, in your work, to high levels of satisfaction on online platforms.
– Develops and implements plans to reduce costs, increase customer satisfaction and F&B revenues, in particular through:
– Control operating costs and correct when necessary (cost of sales, food and beverage ratios, personnel costs and other operating variables).
– Keep all technical sheets updated by outlet and by event.
– Create opportunities to generate additional revenue (Pop-up events, up selling, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS
– 12th Grade.
– Professional restaurant and bar course.
– Higher Education in Hotel Management or Tourism – Preferential.
– Basic technical knowledge of cooking.
– Proficiency in spoken and written English.
– Preference for one more spoken and written language: French, German. Spanish.
– Computer knowledge from a user's perspective, especially Word and Excel, with particular relevance to Internet consultation and E-mailing.
