A 5-star rated resort, located in a vast green area, comprising several support infrastructures and a wide range of services and amenities, aligned with a healthy, holistic lifestyle, where nature plays a central role, is currently recruiting a Training and HR Coordinator (M/F) to join its team!
MISSION
o As HR & Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Human Resources and Training strategy is fulfilled at all levels in the hotel unit.
o Supports, participates in and manages the identified selection processes
o Leads, with the support of the unit's HR department, internal and external training activities to ensure the desired service standards
o Monitors employee performance assessments and ensures their correct implementation across Verdelago
o Support in activating and implementing internal activities with employees
o Help ensure legal compliance with current practices and policies
CUSTOMER
o Ensure the application of good practices leading to data confidentiality, both in the processing and archiving of information and in personal contact between employees and customers, regardless of the communication channel
o Ensure that the entire team provides a discreet, competent and sophisticated service in all service areas of the resort, complying with the established SOPs and providing advice tailored to the tastes and preferences of guests.
o Develop, annually, a training plan together with the HRD and department heads, surveying the team's needs
o Ensure that the team at the various HODs has the necessary training to guarantee a solid level of knowledge of all protocols and consistent compliance with the procedures defined for each service sector and department
o Ensure that all employees are subject to performance evaluation on an annual basis, with quarterly reviews
o Assist HRD and HOD in creating, participating in and promoting actions aimed at strengthening team spirit and the social life of employees at the resort
o Participate and act as a point of reference in previously identified recruitment events and activities
o Coordinate all Occupational Health and Safety processes, namely admission consultations, periodic consultations, report visit plans and training/awareness-raising actions
o Support and assist in visits from external companies, within the scope of human resources, whenever applicable (Health and Safety at Work, Training, and others that apply).
QUALITY
o Periodically analyze the effectiveness and compliance with the previously established training plan
o Monitors and analyses the effectiveness of the training carried out, using assessment tools for this purpose (on the job, feedback, etc.);
o Ensure daily monitoring, implementation and compliance with HR procedures by all employees
o Maintain a critical and attentive eye on safety issues and compliance with established standards: HACCP, Occupational Health and Safety and emergency plan measures
SUSTAINABILITY
o Adopt consumption strategies by employees with a smaller environmental footprint, assessing the environmental impacts of activities and creating policies to reduce them
o Together with the Sustainability and Environment department, communicate the Resort's sustainability policies to all employees and seek to encourage them to adopt environmentally friendly behaviors.
o Ensure ongoing training of teams to raise awareness of the need to separate waste using different containers, creating conditions for employees to adopt these measures
o Ensure that, in all areas, the use of electricity, water, gas and other resources is done efficiently and only when necessary; be an ambassador for the use and integration of local, regional or national products in the services offered at Verdelago.
o Help monitor and prevent food waste
o Work, together with the Sustainability and Environment team, to promote improvement actions in the area of sustainability
REQUIREMENTS
Training:
Degree in management, human resources management or similar
Professional experience:
o Minimum of at least 2 years in similar roles, namely in the training area
o Experience in the hotel industry
o Knowledge of labor legislation
Qualities and skills:
o Proactivity, energetic attitude, motivator and trainer
o Planning and organizational skills
o Excellent relational and team management skills
o Agility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
o Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and English
o Excellent computer skills
