Hotel Forte de Gaia – Concierge Fulltime

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Concierge with a passion for hospitality to join the team at Hotel Forte de Gaia, a space that combines history, elegance and stunning views over the Douro. As a Concierge, you will be the main point of contact to ensure our guests have a unique and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
– Receive and welcome guests with personalized and courteous service.
– Provide information about the hotel facilities and services available.
– Recommend and organize tourist, cultural and gastronomic activities in Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto.
– Coordinate reservations for restaurants, transportation, tours and other external services.
– Manage guest requests and resolve issues efficiently and proactively.
– Supervise the delivery and collection of guest luggage, mail and other items.
– Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Requirements:
– Experience in similar roles, preferably in the luxury hotel industry.
– Fluency in Portuguese and English; other languages will be valued.
– Knowledge of the tourist and cultural offerings in the Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto region.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proactivity, attention to detail and focus on service excellence.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
