Hotel Forte de Gaia – 2nd Waiter (m/f) Fulltime

HOTEL FORTE DE GAIA is recruiting 1st and 2nd Class Waiters to join its team.

Mission:
This professional's main responsibility is to ensure the quality of service required by the Group, complying with all standards and procedures, guaranteeing overall customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:
– Serve meals and drinks to guests and customers;
– Help tidy up the rooms and arrange the tables;
– Ensure that utensils are clean;
– Perform any preparatory services in the room, such as changing clothes;
– Assist in preparing the office;
– Assist or perform the breakfast service in the rooms and other areas of the establishment;
– Register and ask the kitchen for orders made by customers;
– Issue bills and consumption invoices and collect the respective amounts;
– Perform bar work, when necessary, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of preparation utensils and serving drinks.
– Ensure guest loyalty through a professional and proactive approach, always seeking to anticipate and exceed guests’ needs and expectations;
– Sale and promotion of Hotel services.

Requirements:
– 12th year of schooling
– Minimum 2 years experience in 5* Hotels.
– Knowledge of computers from the user's perspective;
– Knowledge of foreign languages, specifically English and others;
– Professional card – Preferential.
