TALENTSHIFT, a Temporary Employment and Human Resources Management Company, is recruiting for Pine Cliffs Resort:
Mission: Prepare the customer reception service in the resort's various restaurants in order to maintain the quality and consistency of the service standards.
Function Description:
– Greet, receive and welcome guests/customers to the restaurant;
– Direct guests/customers to the tables;
– Check the special needs of guests/clients, if necessary;
– Provide all necessary assistance to customers present;
– Confirm the list of reservations and availability;
– Manage waiting lists and inform guests/clients about estimated times for table availability;
– Ensure that the menu is properly presentable (without folds or defects), clean and up-to-date for guests/clients;
– Ensure the organization of tables and chairs according to the number of guests/clients, as well as seats for groups with special needs/requests (people with reduced mobility/disability);
– Ensure that the dining area is well presented, as well as the items not available for each guest (napkins, clean cutlery and any other item that is part of the mandatory standard);
– Keep work areas clean throughout the day, using appropriate cleaning procedures;
– Ensure excellent customer service and a pleasant environment during guests/clients’ meals;
– Complaints management;
– Perform other related duties as requested.
Requirements:
– Previous experience in customer service;
– Ability to work in a team;
– Strong communication skills;
– Strong sense of customer orientation;
- Nice presentation;
– Knowledge of restaurant etiquette standards;
– Accommodation in the Algarve;
– Own transport;
– Availability for permanent contract.

Professional Training/Experience:
– Higher/professional education in the Hotel Management area (or similar);
– Previous experience in the F&B Service area;
Linguistic Competence:
– Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English;
– Other languages are valued.
