YOUR MISSION:
– Monitoring and supervision of tasks with 2nd Receptionists/Interns;
– Guest service and reception;
– The receptionist’s role is not limited to handling and monitoring check-in, check-out and cashier functions.
– Your responsibility
– Assisting and welcoming guests at check-in, check-out or for routine requests at the counter/telephone, in accordance with the Department/Hotel standards;
– Register guests, check reservations and information in the computer system;
– Ensure guest loyalty through a professional and proactive approach, always seeking to anticipate and exceed guests’ needs and expectations;
– Ensure the proper management and maintenance of individual cash funds. Receiving payments from guests and other tasks inherent to the Cashier role;
– Posting debits/deposits in guest/group accounts;
– Control of guest extras accounts, checking consumption levels vs. approved credit for each guest;
– Control of the use of room keys by guests, always ensuring their security and confidentiality;
– Sale and promotion of Hotel services;
– Ensure correct and adequate information about the Hotel’s services, as well as local entertainment/cultural activities
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
– Minimum 12th grade or equivalent (if possible with a degree);
– Specific training in the area of tourism and guest reception;
– Foreign languages. Essential – English
– Between 3 to 4 years of experience in the Front Office area;
– Good computer skills. Ex: Fidelio/Opera and MSOffice applications: Word, Excel, MSOutloo;
