I will ensure that all wellness brand initiatives are fully embraced, and I will participate regularly in our Mission Wellness activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will ensure to follow all directives on environmental protection and preservation, re-usage and minimum wastage, purchasing and packaging such as the abolition of single-use plastic by 2022. I will maintain a harmonious and sensitive approach to our environment and cultural surroundings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operational<\/strong> <strong>Ownership<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this role, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of all experiences tasks to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.<\/p>\n<p>I will assist to ensure\u00a0that all set policies, procedures, best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained in line with brand and statutory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>All activities within the department will be carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law.<\/p>\n<p>An important part of the role\u00a0is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous and positive manner and proactively seek feedback. I am responsible for an exceptional guest experience during all resort activities available for guests. In the event of guest complaints, I will effectively carry out service recovery or charge our hosts to do so to the satisfaction of guests.<\/p>\n<p>I have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort including all guest activities and excursions.<\/p>\n<p>I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicates between, organizer, supervisor, guide, and confidant to all hosts within the department.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts excursions and activities inside and outside of the resort in a safe and efficient manner that provides a high standard of service to the guest.<\/li>\n<li>Provides accurate information about available activities at the resort, gym usage, equipment usage rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Gives exceptional service to go beyond the expectations of all guests.<\/li>\n<li>Presents and introduces the activities compendium and or activity schedule to guests, suggesting suitable activities that provide for a personalized experience and answering questions regarding activities.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicates with guests &#8211; verbally and through body language &#8211; to respond to any additional requests and to determine when an activity has been completed.<\/li>\n<li>Checks and cleans all equipment used during any activity or recreational event.<\/li>\n<li>Reports any damage or excessive wear for proper replacement of recreation equipment to Experiences Manager<\/li>\n<li>Liaises with other departments to ensure that experience operations run smoothly and that bookings are taken correctly, adhered to, and billed correctly.<\/li>\n<li>Handles, follow ups and reports on guests\u2019 comments and feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains knowledge of all emergency evacuation drills according to resort policies.<\/li>\n<li>Reports any health or safety hazards to the Experiences Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Upsells all resort, spa, LIFE and restaurant facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.<\/li>\n<li>Upkeeps Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.<\/li>\n<li>Strictly adheres to LQA standards and guest comments.<\/li>\n<li>Performs any additional tasks given to me by supervisor\/management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this role, I will behave in a professional manner and set an example to all. I will abide by Six Senses principles, core values, best practices, guidelines and objectives, while respecting other cultures and nationalities and projecting a positive and proactive position to help build and maintain a strong, loyal team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To execute the position of Activities Host, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results.\u00a0I possess a minimum\u00a0hospitality diploma\/degree from a recognized hospitality school\u00a0and more than one year\u2019s experience in a similar hotel operational role.<\/p>\n<p>I am a personally involved, visible and proactive host with excellent organizational skills. I have an intuitive sense of product\u00a0and service quality, a passion for excellence and an understanding of the sophisticated needs of the luxury customer and I have experience and I am able to work in a cross-cultural environment positively.<\/p>\n<p>Technical skills include\u00a0MS Office \u2013 Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have good knowledge on how to swim. I have knowledge of hospitality operations, including emergency evacuation drills.<\/p>\n<p>I have an\u00a0excellent command of written and spoken English and Portuguese.
