\u00b7 As a consultant, I worked for the International Organization for Migration \u2013 IOM, with the aim of providing training in conflict management\/effective communication and diversity\/cultural awareness in the context of immigration detention for police guards in Portugal.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 As Associate Director of Investigation, Law Enforcement and Strengthening of the Dominican Republic, on behalf of the International Justice Mission \u2013 IJM, we achieved a drastic reduction in the indicators of sexual exploitation of children and women in that country (I acted as leader of the investigators approached in the prevalence study that generated indicators that allow us to affirm the reduction in the prevalence of sexual exploitation of children after IJM actions). In two years, we supported the National Police in preparing the National Plan to combat human trafficking, including the preparation and execution of two national operations to combat this type of crime, with the arrest of many criminals and the release of dozens of children and women victims of sexual exploitation. All this, based on a strategic plan based on evidence collected by IJM in its first prevalence study, which took place in 2015. We held ten 40-hour courses to combat human trafficking with the participation of police officers, judges, members of the Public Ministry and civil society, with the support of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo \u2013 UASD. Finally, during this time, I supported IJM and collaborated with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in the plan to combat human trafficking with AEROPUERTO DOMINICANOS SIGLO XXI (AERODOM), with the support of the National Police, the National Department of Migration and CESAC (airport security) in a training and cooperation agreement signed between these agencies, to combat the phenomenon of human trafficking.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 I worked at the United Nations Peacebuilding Mission in Guinea-Bissau \u2013 UNIOGBIS as a Drug Crime Control and Prevention Officer (P-3), with the aim of institutionally strengthening the criminal justice system, in 2019 I supported the Judiciary Police in two intelligence operations that resulted in the seizure of around 2,800 kg of cocaine, the largest in the country's history. I also supported several police trainings, including a partnership with the Kofi Annan Institute \u2013 KAIPTC.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 I worked as Undersecretary of Public Security in the State of Rio de Janeiro, having led a team of 42 employees in three fields of activity focused on Education and Appreciation of Civil and Military Police Officers (around 65,000 professionals), as well as Crime Prevention with police proximity between the police and the community, especially in the Pacification Police Units (UPP).<\/p>\n
\u00b7 As a senior police officer at the Brazilian Federal Police, with extensive experience in intelligence operations, I worked as a deputy attach\u00e9 in Washington DC in close cooperation with the FBI, DHS, ICE, ATF and other organizations focused on combating criminal organizations at an international level.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 I love working on projects, like the one I did with the United Nations Development Office \u2013 UNDP, at the Brazilian Ministry of Justice (more than US$ 10 million successfully executed).<\/p>\n
