Bolsa de Empregabilidade, a brand of Associação Fórum Turismo, with registered offices at Campo Grande 35, 1700-087 Lisbon, Portugal, holder of corporate identification number 510 368 158, is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data and, therefore, undertakes to process and guarantee the security of such data in accordance with the personal data protection legislation in force, namely the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Bolsa de Empregabilidade is the entity responsible for the processing of this personal data, which is kept for the period necessary and appropriate for the purposes for which it is intended.

This Privacy Policy aims to inform you how Bolsa de Empregabilidade processes your data and your rights as a data subject. Any data made available to Bolsa de Empregabilidade will be processed in strict compliance with the requirements established by the GDPR and other applicable legislation.

Type of Personal Data, Purposes and Basis for Processing

This policy covers Bolsa de Empregabilidade's online and offline data collection activities, including data collected through various channels, such as brand websites, agencies and events/fairs in which Bolsa de Empregabilidade participates.

Personal data is any information relating to a person that identifies or makes them identifiable, including sound and image. Examples of personal data that we collect: name, telephone number, email address. An identifiable person is one who can be identified directly or indirectly by reference to an identification number or other specific elements.

The personal data provided will be used for the following purposes:

  • Contact users before, during or after carrying out contracted services;
  • Register for available services;
  • Respond to messages, customer support and information requests;
  • Analyze and follow up on the application process for job opportunities;
  • Send newsletters or other requested and/or interesting publications;

By submitting your data, the user declares that he/she is of legal age or that he/she has obtained the express consent of his/her legal guardian for this purpose. The Employability Exchange is not responsible for false statements made by users. In the event of identification of a minor without due consent, the data will be immediately deleted.

Image and Video Capture

During events organized or supported by the Employability Exchange, images and videos that include participants may be captured. These captures will be used to:

  • Marketing and brand communication purposes;
  • Promotion of future events and related initiatives.

Participants will be informed in advance about the possibility of capturing images and videos, and will be guaranteed the right to object upon explicit request.

Use of Data for Statistical Purposes

The information provided by candidates may be used in an anonymized form for statistical purposes. The results of these analyses may be made publicly available for the purposes of:

  • Monitor job market trends;
  • Provide reports and studies on employability;
  • Improve the Employability Exchange initiatives and programs.

Data Subject Rights

Data subjects may exercise the following rights, within the legally established limits:

  • Access to personal data: Submit a request to access your processed personal data.
  • Rectification of personal data: Request the correction of incomplete or incorrect data.

Within the scope of the online Recruitment Platform, data may be transferred to:

  • Companies registered on the platform that are looking for employees;
  • Candidates looking for work, with authorization.

Service providers, such as marketing agencies and technology entities, may process data on behalf of the Employability Exchange, always ensuring compliance with data protection standards.

International Data Transfers

Data may be transferred outside the European Union, provided that compliance with applicable community and national standards is ensured.

Event Entry

The Employability Exchange reserves the right to deny entry to events organized by the brand to anyone, if situations are identified that compromise the safety, the proper functioning of the event, or that are in violation of the terms and conditions previously established for participation. This decision may be made at any time, being duly communicated to the interested party, and does not confer the right to reimbursement or compensation, unless expressly stated otherwise. Entry to events may also be subject to identity verification and other criteria defined by the organization.
