About Us
O Barata Hotels Group, previously known as Grupo Fernando Barata – Hotels & Resorts, currently has more than 50 years of history, having been founded in 1966, by Mr. Fernando Barata.
Currently, the Group has 8 hotel units, including hotels and resorts and a chain of restaurants and bars – Downtown Restaurants & Co. – and also an irreverent bar, which mixes a vintage and burlesque atmosphere with the fusion of tasty cocktails – the Passion Bar. The group has been passed down from generation to generation and is still constantly expanding and innovating. Here, we are more than a hotel group, we are a family, where unity and passion for our work makes whoever visits us feel at home.
