The history of the Bensaude Hotels Collection begins with the opening of the Hotel Terra Nostra, in 1935. This mythical space is a reference for tourist and hotel excellence. The gardens at Parque Terra Nostra are unique and an ex-libris of the Azores, highlighting its thermal pool with water temperatures around 40ºC.
Since then, the Group has been growing sustainably in the Azores (Terra Nostra Garden Hotel; Hotel Marina Atlântico; Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico; S. Miguel Park Hotel; Neat Hotel Avenida; Terceira Mar Hotel; Hotel do Canal), having reached to Lisbon in 2005, with the opening of the Hotel Açores Lisboa.
One of the Group's differentiating features is precisely this strong connection to the Azorean identity.
