About Us
The Fladgate Partnership is the holding company that has businesses in Port wine, table wine, tourism and distribution.
It was a pioneer in Port wine, with the group's founding company, Taylor's, in 1692. More recently, it invested in the tourism sector. The creation of The Yeatman Hotel, opened in 2010, was undoubtedly the catalyst that gave rise to the tourist boom in the city of Porto.
It also owns the Vintage House Hotel, in Pinhão and the World of Wine, the cultural quarter in the historic heart of Vila Nova de Gaia, which was born from the renovation of old Port wine warehouses.
It also has a distribution company that supplies its wines and those of third parties to hotels, restaurants, retailers and consumers and, in September 2023, maintaining its spirit of innovation and dynamism, it created a new line of business, Fladgate Still & Sparkling Wines.
