GENERAL
The Bolsa de Empregabilidade is a hiring hub in Tourism. Its main objective is to unite professionals with recruiters in the sector. The Bolsa organizes job fairs annually, in mainland Portugal, and also has an online recruitment platform, available 365 days a year.

Vacancies on the platform are posted by companies, but there are opportunities for several places. The majority are for mainland Portugal, including the North, Center, Lisbon Area, Alentejo and Algarve. There are also vacancies for the islands and some opportunities abroad.

We cannot guarantee a specific time for responding to vacancies, it will depend from company to company and the vacancies themselves.
It is important to have the conditions requested by companies, depending on the vacancy. In the case of in-person vacancies, it is advisable to be available in Portugal. For foreigners, we also advise you to have your work visas properly sorted out.
No. The Bolsa is just the tool, in the case of the platform, or the means, in the case of physical fairs, of contact between professionals and companies. CVs must be sent directly in the applications for each vacancy, not directly through us.
The Bolsa de Empregabilidade project works exclusively with the Tourism sector, also encompassing the areas of Hotels, Restaurants, Travel Agencies, Cruises, Tourist Entertainment, Marketing, Commercial and Management.
PLATFORM

To register on the platform, click on the “Register” button in the top right corner of the website. Then, you must create your username, password, indicate your email and accept the Privacy Policy.

In the Login area, click on “Forgot your password?”, add your email and click on the “Reset Password” button. Then, go to your email and follow the steps sent.
To start searching for vacancies, you can do so via the Homepage or the “Search for vacancies” page, in the “Candidate” Menu section. You can search by keyword (e.g. Waiter), Professional Area, Region or Type of Contract.

Alerts are personalized notifications that can be created within each user's personal dashboard. They are used to receive notifications of vacancies with specific characteristics and frequency.

To create an alert you must go to your personal panel, click on “Alerts” and then “Create Alert”. Within this area, customize the available fields and start receiving emails.

Within your personal panel, go to “Resumes” and click on “Add CV”. Within this area, fill in the mandatory and suggested fields that make sense to you. At the bottom of the page, click “Preview” and then “Publish CV”.

It is possible to create more than one resume.

To update an existing CV, go back to the “Resumes” section and click on “Edit” on the right side of the CV you want to change. Then just save it.

JOB FAIRS
Job fairs take place annually, in different parts of the country. Next year, in 2024, 5 fairs will take place: Algarve (30/01/24), Alentejo (20/02/24), Lisbon (01/03/24), Porto (12/01/24) and Centro ( April, date to be defined).
Registration is done on the website, using a form. Registration will open soon and will be announced on the website, by email and on social media.
No. All job fairs are free to enter.
Yes. We publish on the Bolsa de Empregabilidade website some time in advance which companies will be present at each fair, as they vary from fair to fair.
It is optional, but we advise you to at least take your CV in digital format, to make it easier for the company to save your contact details.
They can happen. The main objective of fairs is contact between professionals and companies. It may just be an exchange of contacts or even an interview.
Through contact established with the recruiter on the day of the fair, who will explain what roles are available.
Yes, several communications are always sent with complete information about the fairs (location, times, date, program, companies present, transport, etc.).
Yes. It is always possible to leave and enter again.

COMPANIES

GENERAL

The Bolsa de Empregabilidade is a hiring hub in Tourism. Its main objective is to unite professionals with recruiters in the sector.

The Exchange organizes job fairs annually, in mainland Portugal, and also has an online recruitment platform, available 365 days a year.

Companies can participate in job fairs, with their stands, by booking one of the available packages.

Another option is to use the online platform, where companies can test for free for a month and choose the pack that best meets their needs.

Yes. There are plans with participation in just 1 fair or more, including or not the online platform. There is also the possibility of purchasing just the online platform.
PLATFORM

In www.bolsadeempregabilidade.pt, right on the home page, access the 1 free ad button and fill in the necessary fields using the form. Therefore, we will receive your interest and send you the access details via email. You can test our platform for free for a free month.

You must access the company's personal panel and go to “Company Management” and the first step is “Add Company”, so you must fill in the necessary fields and customize in the most appropriate way.
Access the company's personal panel and go to “Publish Ad”. Fill in the required and optional fields you want, then click “Next”, review and publish the ad. You can publish as many ads as you want.
You can manage applications in the company panel on the left, through the “Manage Applications” option, where you can access the candidates’ profile. Using the “Edit” button, there is also the option to update the status of the application. Furthermore, it is also possible to add notes regarding the candidate, using the “Notes” button.
Access the company's personal panel and go to “Search Candidates”. On the new page, you can search by position, professional area or perform an advanced search. In addition, you can also see the complete list of candidates registered on the platform so far.
When accessing a candidate's profile, you can send a message using the “Send Message” button. Access the company's personal panel and click on “Messages”. Here is where you will be able to access your message history with each candidate.
JOB FAIRS
Between September and December of the year before the job fairs take place, participation plans are open. It is possible to purchase one of the plans by contacting the Stock Exchange sales representative. Each company will have its own stand, which can be personalized.

The plans have different values depending on the number of fairs in which your company wants to participate. Early Bird is currently available with discounts. See more information here.

Each stand includes a table with two chairs, an electricity point and the company logo. In addition to the base stand, each company will be able to take with it decorative elements that fit within the limits of their stand.
Yes. Normally, it is always 1 hour before the opening for candidates. The specific time will be communicated closer to the fair dates.
The distribution of companies across stands is done in advance of each fair and is random, through a draw, however they will be distributed by sectors. After the draw is carried out, the map of each fair is communicated.
Yes. If the company wants to have more than one stand, an extra fee is charged for presence at the fair, to be agreed with the Employment Exchange sales representative. Regarding distribution, the stands will be together.
Yes. The places where the fairs will be held have wifi for use. There may be some spikes in internet speed, depending on the users connected.
Parking will depend on the location where the job fair will be held.
Yes. It is always possible to leave and enter again.
In every location, there will be a place where it will be possible to unload.

Networking events are events organized by the Employment Exchange for Tourism recruiters, in addition to job fairs and are free.

This year, 3 of these events will take place: Breakfast & Business, in the Algarve (26/10/23); Cocktail & Business, in Lisbon (09/11/23); Meet Up, in Porto (23/11/23).
