Group Coordinator / Sales Promoter Fulltime

VidaMar Resort Algarve is recruiting a Group Coordinator/Sales Promoter for its unit in Albufeira.

Packed with excellent services and comforts, this resort is located next to a nature reserve full of biodiversity, facing the infinite blue of the Atlantic and just a few steps from a golf course, in Herdade dos Salgados.

Main responsibilities:
– Monitoring groups;
– Entering reservations and updating hotel availability;
– Sending quotes;
– Preparation and monitoring of inspection visits;
– Planning activities to publicize/promote the unit’s products and services;
– Building relationships with new accounts and consolidating relationships with existing accounts;
– Making effective and assertive decisions, in order to maximize the unit’s profitability.

Requirements:
– Training in Hotel Management/Tourism (preferably)
– Experience in groups/events (preferably)
– Solid knowledge of market trends, protocol, sales and negotiation techniques;
– Proficiency in foreign languages;
– Host system domain;
– Great sense of organization, planning and responsibility;
– Strong dynamism and creativity;
– Ability to work under pressure;
– Ability to argue and understand customers’ needs;
– Good presentation and friendliness;
– Good interpersonal relationships;
– Ability to work in teams and on projects.
