Host / Hostess Fulltime

Vidamar Resort Hotel Algarve is recruiting a Host / Hostess for its unit in Albufeira.

Full of several excellent services and comforts, this resort is located next to a natural reserve full of biodiversity, facing the infinite blue of the Atlantic and just a few steps from a golf course, in Herdade dos Salgados.

Main responsibilities:
• Receive and serve guests in restaurants in a personalized, efficient and memorable manner in order to satisfy the highest expectations;
• Provide information about menus, restaurants, hotel, amenities and surroundings;
• Identify and respond promptly and timely to customer needs and expectations;
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, providing a distinctive and excellent experience.

Ideal profile:
• Secondary education, preferably technical/professional in the areas of Hotel Management/Tourism;
• Consolidated experience in the role, preferably in luxury and/or 5* units;
• Strong focus on providing excellent service with high quality standards;
• Fluent English, other languages will be valued;
• Computer knowledge from the user's perspective;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Nice presentation;
• Honest profile, committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
