1st Receptionist (m/f) – Hotel Mundial in Lisbon Fulltime

The PHC Hotels Group is recruiting for its flagship hotel in Lisbon, Hotel Mundial:

1st Class Receptionist (M/F)

Main responsibilities:

– Guest reception: Check-in and Check-out;
– Management related to occupancy, allocation and sale of rooms;
– Supervision and coordination of the shift;
– Invoicing, launching and charging for consumption;
– Promote the services offered by the hotel and make reservations for them;
– Management and routing of telephone calls;
– Passing information and pending matters to the next shift;
– Complaints management and forwarding to the responsible superior;
– Respond to guest requests for external reservations;
– Provide tourist, historical and cultural information about the city of Lisbon;
– Ensure/anticipate all guest needs, respecting the hotel’s principles and values;
– Management of lost and found items by reception.

Requirements:
– Higher or technical education in the area of hotel management or tourism techniques;
– Proven experience in receptionist roles in a 4* or higher hotel;
– Essential language: Portuguese and English (written and spoken), other languages valued;
– Excellent presentation and communication skills;
– Good interpersonal relationships and customer orientation;
– Sense of commitment, autonomy and dedication;
– Team spirit, friendliness and punctuality;
– Availability and flexible hours for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays;
– Computer knowledge from a user perspective (management of booking platforms and Inovguest valued.
