We believe that whenever the right opportunities meet the right candidates, the industry grows and evolves.

Therefore, the mission of the Employability Exchange is to enhance the growth of the sector, connecting professionals and companies through recruitment initiatives that bring the best opportunities to the right candidates, while also allowing them to develop their skills along the way.

We realized that there was a mismatch between recruiters looking for employees and candidates who wanted to work in the sector.

We decided to solve this problem.
In 2016, the Associação Fórum Turismo, founder of the Employability Exchange, identified the lack of a space dedicated to recruitment in the Tourism sector, which has specific characteristics and needs. Thus, the Employability Exchange was created, with the first Job Fair held in Lisbon. Since then, the Exchange has expanded its activity, offering specialized recruitment in several regions and throughout the year, including five job fairs throughout the country, an online platform and several networking initiatives, becoming the largest hiring hub in Tourism in Portugal.
