Quick brief about myself, I’m Aline Durães, I was born in May 1998, in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais - Brazil.
It was at the age of 16 that I discovered my fascination for design, after doing a short course about Graphic Design. After finishing the course I started to work as a freelancer, and from this came the opportunity to create my own T-shirt brand, Megui Store, obtaining a good number of sales and the end of the doubt of my professional choice.
In 2018, at the age of 19, I moved to Portugal to pursue a degree in Design, Graphic Production and Multimedia, which I graduated in 2021. As a recent graphic design graduate, I’m searching for an opportunity to grow, be able to fail and learn with it, to become a successful designer. I really enjoy creating, and I always challenge myself to learn more.
At the ages of 7 and 11 I won illustration contests, at 12 years poetry contests, at 15 years a video contest for my city hall about traffic education... the last one competed was for my University, where my project was chosen for the 30th Anniversary commemorative logotype of the same.
I’ve always been a dreamer and look to travel the world, live and experience different places, cultures, and meet other people. I’m living in Lisbon, but I consider myself a citizen of the world, but forever a Brazilian kid.
