Head of Reception (M/F) Fulltime

VidaMar Hotels & Resorts is recruiting a Reception Manager (M/F) for its 5* unit in Albufeira.

Packed with several excellent services and comforts, this elite resort is situated next to a nature reserve full of biodiversity, facing the infinite blue of the Atlantic and just a few steps from a famous golf course.

Main responsibilities:
• Define standards that meet the highest expectations of guests;
• Supervise the reception service and ensure compliance with defined standards;
• Control billing;
• Recruit, train and motivate the team to provide a sophisticated service;
• Prepare and manage the budget and control the department’s costs;
• 'Monitor guest reviews and implement continuous improvement actions;
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, ensuring the quality and excellence of the service provided.

Ideal profile:
• Higher education in Hotel Management/Tourism;
• Minimum 5 years' experience in luxury and/or 5* hotels;
• Ability to lead, motivate and train the team to provide an excellent service, in accordance with the highest quality standards;
• Good knowledge of English (eliminatory), other languages will be valued;
• Experience with hotel management operating systems, namely with Host;
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, communication and problem-solving skills;
• Focus on the quality of services provided and customer service;
• Proactive attitude;
• Honest profile, committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
