Housekeeper (M/F/D) at Hotel Cascais Miragem Health & Spa Fulltime

At Hotel Cascais Miragem Health & Spa we are recruiting for our Accommodation Department, for the role of Housekeeper (M/F/D).

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks, which contribute to achieving the common objectives of the Hotel Unit:

– Direct contact with customers;

– Distribute the Housekeeping teams according to the daily operation, defining the tasks and services to be guaranteed;

– Guide teams according to hotel operations, defining work shifts;

– Control Extras and respective requests with partner companies;

– Maintain good communication with the Hotel Reception in order to guarantee customer satisfaction;

– Plan and ensure the cleaning of rooms and public areas;

– Ensure the implementation of a pest prevention program, Legionella control and mattress cleaning or turning;

– Ensure the proper maintenance and hygiene of the spaces assigned to it;

– Carry out inspections of rooms and public areas;

– Prepare inventories and requisitions for material replacement;

– Train new employees to carry out their daily work;

– Preparation of service reports to pass on information;

– Be aware of the technical and safety data sheets in order to ensure that your teams are aware of them;

– Coordination with the other sections of the Hotel.

Requirements for the role:

– Hotel Management or Tourism course (preferred);

– 2 years of professional experience in similar roles (preferred);

– Good verbal and written communication skills;

– Skills in terms of interpersonal relationships;

– Capacity for organization and functional planning;

– Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively;

– Leadership skills and attention to detail;

– Attendance and punctuality;

– Sense of responsibility and dedication;

– Fluency in English;

– Computer skills from the user’s perspective;

– Availability to work shifts.
