F&B Assistant (m/f) Fulltime

The Portugal Best Holiday Group (PBH), a reference in quality tourism in Portugal, is recruiting a F&B Assistant (m/f) for the Wine & Books Lisboa Hotel.

Wine & Books Hotels offer an innovative hotel concept based on what best defines the Portuguese people and Portuguese culture: literature, gastronomy, wines, fado and hospitality.

We are looking for professionals focused on providing excellent service.

Main responsibilities:
• Coordinate the hotel's F&B operation, providing a sophisticated, personalized and memorable gastronomic experience through the provision of excellent service;
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen and dining room teams, ensuring that tasks are carried out efficiently, effectively and in accordance with the highest quality standards;
• Monitor food and beverage stocks, placing replenishment orders when necessary;
• Assist in budget management, maximizing profits and controlling costs;
• Participate in the organization and execution of events;
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards;
• Assist in the recruitment, reception, integration and training process of employees;
• Collaborate with other hotel departments, ensuring the quality and excellence of the service provided.

Ideal profile:
• Higher education in Hotel Management or similar field;
• Experience in the role, preferably in 5* units or high-quality restaurants;
• Excellent knowledge of English (mandatory) and other languages (preferred);
• Knowledge of the Host program (preferred);
• Ability to analyze the department's P&L;
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and train the team to provide an excellent service;
• Mastery of Excel and other productivity tools will be valued, as well as additional training in the areas of HACCP, Hotel and Catering;
• High sense of responsibility and autonomy;
• Honest profile, committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
