Sales executive (m/f) – PHC Hotels in Lisbon Fulltime

The PHC Hotels Group is recruiting to reinforce its Sales Team:

Sales Executive (M/F)

Reporting directly to the commercial director, her main responsibilities are:

– Prospecting, budgeting and implementation of Events, Corporate and MICE business for PHC Hotels units as well as for their restaurants and event spaces;
– Carry out commercial visits to companies, travel agencies, DMCs and other business partners with the aim of promoting and boosting sales of Accommodation, Meeting Rooms, Event Spaces and Restaurants;
– Scheduling, managing and executing the weekly agenda of visits to clients (existing and potential) and preparing weekly reports on these;
– Support and assistance in implementing the PHC Hotels Commercial Strategy in accordance with the objectives set and positioning of each unit;
– Periodic analysis of markets, competition, and annual review of the sales plan in relation to objectives, contributing with adjustments whenever necessary, in accordance with new trends and opportunities;
– Monitoring sales performance and proposing corrective actions to achieve or exceed established goals;
– Contribute and participate in the creation of action and promotion plans for PHC Hotels units;
– Identify and maximize opportunities to improve business performance and profitability;
– Development of strategic and tactical sales adjustment plans, in order to generate incremental and measurable sales revenue;
– Conducting Fam Trips and other types of technical and inspection visits to PHC Hotels units.
– Prepares and responds to requests for Corporate, Group and Event Rates from the various units whenever service needs so require.

Requirements:

– Academic qualifications at a bachelor’s degree level in the area of Management/Hotel Management/Tourism;
– 3 years of proven professional experience in active sales – Experience in national and/or international hotel chains in “Luxury Lifestyle” brands – preferred factor;
– Professional experience in participating in fairs, workshops and other types of local and national promotional activities;
– General knowledge of the market and destination Lisbon;
– Experience in the F&B and MICE segment – preferred factor;
– Capacity and appetite for commercial activity with a focus on sales and oriented towards objectives and results;
– Excellent empathy, communication and negotiation skills;
– Friendliness, availability and enjoyment of contact with the client;
– Fluent in spoken and written English, with other languages being valued.
