We are Recruiting F&B Director (M/F) for TIVOLI AVENIDA LIBERDADE
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As F&B DIRECTOR (M/F), you will report to the Hotel Director and will be responsible for:
. Plan the Food & Beverage service based on the defined strategies and available resources;
. Participate in the organization and planning of events and in hiring banquet services;
. Coordinate and monitor the organization and execution of events and supervise the provision of services to customers;
. Manage complaints and ensure the coordination of F&B teams, as well as promote and carry out up-selling and cross-selling;
. Plan and organize, in collaboration with section heads, service schedules and distribute services in order to make the most of existing resources (material and human);
. Define F&B service management policies according to different customer profiles;
. Define those responsible for the different services, objectives, operating rules and type of service to be provided;
. Manage human resources assigned to the department – selection, reception, performance evaluation, definition of training needs, among others;
. Control the department's costs and ensure compliance with its Activity Plan;
. Actively participate in F&B Committees with a view to product and business development;
. Act as an ambassador for the Hotel, maintaining direct and frequent contact with guests, seeking to promote the Hotel's image and services;
. Promote the GHA loyalty program, ensuring compliance with procedures;
. Develop and update menus for different outlets based on customer preferences and competition analysis;
. Carry out planning, implementation and verification of seasonal points of sale;
. Prepare, monitor and ensure the execution of the general budget;
. Develop campaigns with the Marketing Department;
. Perform Duty Manager services;
. Participate in Quality, Environment and Safety Management System review meetings;
. Lead the HACCP team, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:
. Careful presentation and friendliness
. Leadership skills, motivation and team development
. Good communication and interpersonal skills
. Passion for service, attention to detail and customer orientation
. Flexibility of Schedules
. Professional experience in similar functions minimum of 3 years (Head of Department). 4 or 5 star hotels or reference restaurants.
. Knowledge of Portuguese and English and preference for another foreign language (fluent in speaking)
. Bachelor's or Degree in Hotel Management or Tourism (preferred)
. Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Internet, Database and specific applications for the accommodation/hospitality area.
